Hello Lybrate-user! hair loss can be due to various reasons, genetic, hormonal, nutritional, dandruff, stress ,pollution etc. We have to examine the scalp to know the reason for hair loss. If dandruff is present, it should be checked and be controlled in this age group. Blood tests like cbpesr ,tsh, lft, rbs, s.ferritin levels, s.b12 levels, s.vitamin d levels, s.testosterone levels need to be checked to know the reason and to focus on the internal factors. Mean while ,take balanced diet with proteins, fresh fruits and vegetables, plenty of fluids for hydration, omega 3 rich foods like walnuts, flax seeds etc, iron rich foods like green leafy vegetables, liver, jaggery. Use a ph balanced shampoo .as per your history, you are suffering from male pattern baldness/androgenetic alopecia. Since, there is no cure for androgenetic alopecia. However, for time being continue minoxidil, as finasteride is not advisable in your condition. If ,still you are panic, go for prp (platelet rich plasma) therapy.
