Hi doctor, this is about my new born baby girl. She is 2 month 6 days old. Since yesterday she is suffering from 100+ fever as the pandemic going on I am scared about to take her to doctor. Somehow I visited pediatrician she recommend her crocin drop and. Zifi drops. Also she gave meftal p syrup for when fever gets high. But today I found her in morning fine with no fever. But by getting evening she has got 100+ fever again, I am getting very tensed because of this. Please suggest me the best way as. You know small kids can't tell about their problem. You can continue with crocin drops for fever. Normally viral fever in children subsides by day 4. Till that you can continue the drops if fever is present, if there is any warning signs like not feeding well, less active than usual, has some breathing difficulty then take her for consultation immediately. If any of the family members have any symptoms of covid or similar symptoms, covid can be suspected and they should isolate themselves away from the child.
