My baby is 60 days old and she was having a small pea size white patch near naval when born which increased to a line of white patch spreading to limb and shoulder. On consultation with dermatologist I was told that she is having nevus depigmentosus and suggested 0.03% tacroz ointment but it's not working. Also she has constipation issue and passes motion in 4-5 days period. Pls suggest what to do.

Is the lesion present on both the sides of the body or on the same size? If it is nevus depigmentosus then the disapperance of the lesion will be tough. A picture of the lesion is needed to diagnose clinically. During the initial 6 months of life babies can pass stools from once in a day to once in 7 days. If she is not straining a lot during passing stools there is nothing to worry about, provided she is on exclusive breast feeds only.
