Hello, I had a cyst of 3 cm in the right ovary and been suffering with severe abdomen pain my consultant gynaec doc. Suggested me to use triquilar tablet for 21 days (as it is a 21 day course) I had been experiencing vomiting and stomach pain too after starting my course as I get to know that it was a contraceptive pill I am 19 years old do I go through any difficulties in future in case of getting pregnant or any side-effects if I continue this triquilar course.

There is no effect on fertility and future pregnancies with the use of ocps. But if the pain and vomitting don't decrease and increase further, immediately consult your gynecologist as it may be torsion of the cyst.

Taking one course of ocp doesn't cause any problem in future for pregnancy. For pain abdomen, you can take some analgesics .cyclopam and antacid (rantac) along with it. Repeat the scan after 1-2 months to confirm the size of cyst.

Not at all. You will have no fertility problems in future because of this medication. If it is a heavy cyst like dermoid cyst, it can undergo torsion .If pain and vomiting persist, rescan to exclude this possibility.
