Sir/ma'am, I had covid like symptoms fever and cough with mucus. No breathing issue but I suffer pollen induced asthma in april may so I start taking monticope which i'm still taking and doing fine. No breathing issue. My fever went off after day 5 and coughing went off after 15 days after my pulmonogist prescribed me a cough syrup and conducted xray crp and cbc everything was normal. He asked me to stop syrup once i'm ok. But from last 1 week I feel mild pain on pressing in my left rib or muscle. It's not constant it either starts when I press that one or two rib or when I try to move my upper body in a certain way. If I use hot water bag multiple time a day it's ok. If I stop using it again feels like chest tightness on left side. No breathlessness no cough. It's constant neither increasing nor getting better. It gets better only when used hot water bag. Is this coschronditis as I saw on the internet or something else. Why has this started. Is this something serious. It only starts when I touch or move my upper body.

Costochondritis is usually caused when you have severe cough, breathing difficulties or trauma like experience. Consultation with pictures might be more helpful.
