I had tuberculosis pleural effusion (lungs) in 2012 April and few litres of fluid taken out from lungs, had undergone medicines for 10 months and fully recovered, but im scared that is there any chance to get affected again as a continuity?

relax. you are treated fully and cured. take balanced and nutritious diet and exercise daily. be healthy. There is no extra chance of getting infected again as compared to other healthy individuals.

no more do not worry TB is a chronic infectious disease caused by Microbacterium tuberculoses the infection spread by the tuberculosis patients who discharges tubercular bacellinin his sputu!m or nasopharyngial secretions during bouts of coughing or sneezing. hence you have to take precautions not come in contract with an active tubercular pt.
