My mother 70 years old having bp as the only comorbidity. On april 22, she had fever upto 100 and had taken azithromycin and paracetamol for 3 days and thereafter no fever persists. No covid test done. Since april 29, she is facing breathlessness problem and since then she is taking deriphyllin 100 mg (1 dose) and budecort inhaler (1 dose ? morning evening) along with my bp medicine (amlodipine 5 mg) on daily basis. She is not facing any fatigue and remains an active person with oxy level 97-98. Bp also remains around 125/80. My query is how long she has to continue with budecort inhaler and deriphyllin. Is taking budecort harmful as she is not an asthma patient and this is the first time this issue arises?

Budecort is a steroid. Second, it appears that no proper investigation was done and medicine is given symptomatically or say blindly. I would suggest proper check up and homeopathic treatment.
