My pregnancy was 38 days, I have taken the mifegest kit, after taking misoprostol medicines my bleeding starts after in half an hour. It was heavy bleeding but in second day there is no bleeding. My abortion is clear or not?

Hi lybrate-user. If you had heavy bleeding for one day, it's very likely that most of the abortion has already occurred. The bleeding pattern can be different in different women, some may have many days of bleeding, and some may have only one or two days. The only way to confirm is to do an ultrasound after 1-2 weeks, preferably trans vaginal ultrasound, to see if anything is left inside uterus or not.
