Hello, my age is 52, (no diabetes, no blood pressure problem, no any other disease), weight 79, height 5' 0" I am facing problem of constipation since last 5 months, I consulted gastroenterologist he advised for sonography, the report of which was normal, the doctor then prescribed pantocid 40 od, syrup sucral o tds, even after taking the dose prescribed for 1 month the problem remained same. Then one more gastroenterologist prescribed rebaxin 20 mg od, lisaride 25 mg tds. But problem remained same. Then I started daily routine according to naturopathy by taking very light diet, taking fruits and juice etc. By following that routine and I also took jhandu pancharisht, gospas tablet for two month I felt very much relaxed from the problem of constipation, pain and gastric problem. But since last month on little bit change in diet I again started feeling the same problem of constipation, gas, heaviness in stomach, bloating, little bit pain. I feel uneasiness because of the above mentioned problem .i am not feeling natural pressure due to which I have to take castor oil or ??? ??? or water anemia. Please advice what to do.

Taking a light diet will not help your case, neither will too many medications - some of them will even worsen it. You need to increase your daily fibre intake by replacing any rice items in your diet with atta (no maida), bajra or ragi flour. Consume vegetables like lady's finger and consume fruits like sweet lime (?????) entirely without making a juice out of it and papaya. Avoid sucral and common antacids like eno/ digene as it has some components which will make constipation worse. Also plenty of water intake is needed, at least 2 litres everyday. If things still don't resolve, please feel free to have a consult.
