Hello mam, my wife is now 9 weeks pregnant with twins. On 11/05/2021 her covid report got positive. Dr. Told us we had to admit her in hospital. We did her chest x ray and found that she is suffering from phunmonia. So Dr. given her fabiflu and other medicine. At that time her spo2 level was 98. After 5 days Dr. discharged her from hospital and gave fabiflu for another 4 days and dexona also. Now mam we are very worry about pregnancy. Mam please tell us, is this pregnancy will affects by this medicines or not. .is there a chance of miscarriage or any abnormalities in the child. Please help us mam. Thanking u.

Though this medicine should be avoided using for pregnant, breastfeeding, and those suffering from liver or kidney problems or are allergic to it. Treating doctor decides comparing advantages v/s disadvantages. One can always get sonography done at different times to rule out major (mainly physical) abnormalities.
