Hello doctor. I am 18 years old. Ever since I was 12 years old, I experienced neck pain after every four to five minutes of keeping my head in one position. About three years back I felt a catch in the neck and shoulder blade area (right). The stiffness went away, but the pain remained and again about a year back, I experienced the same kind of stiffness in the other shoulder blade area, I went to a doctor, he took an x-ray, saw that everything was fine and sent me home with pain meds (hifenac-d). The pain died down for a very short time and shot back. The pain remained but the stiffness went away. Once again this year, I felt stiffness in the neck and shoulder blade area (left. The stiffness went down a bit with the use of the pain relief spray but the pain continues. It?s like I forgot what my body feels like without pain. Can you help or explain? Sincerely.
