Is calaptin sr 120 a blood coagulator? My father is taking dabigatran as well which is causing blood in urine. He has psvt.

Hey, first, calaptin sr 120 is a drug used for controlling hypertension (high blood pressure) and arrhythmias of the heart like psvt. It is not an anticoagulant. Second, if your father has urinary bleeding from dabigatran, please inform the prescribing doctor so that he can stop it for a few days if needed and make timely interventions.

No calaptin is anti-hypertensive. It has no role in coagulation. I think your father should undergo a usg kubp to know the cause of blood in urine, it can be some different pathology.
