I am 23 years old and i'm having hair fall and allot of itching mainly on the top of my head. I have consulted a doctor who have prescribed me topisal lotion and ketoconazole lotion. I have been using this for a week but there is no relief in my condition. I have used curd lemon juice but not getting any relief. What else I can do to treat this?

Good hair care is required, you are suffering from seborrheic dermatitis. -keep affected area clean ,non greasy. -avoid coconut oil ,only condition hair prior shampoo. -mustard oil, lemon, olive oil, tea tree oil and aloe vera may be used if secure on scalp.-it may appear again with change of weather, stress, products used, pregnancy, age, systemic conditions, drugs etc -necessary to control risk factors, review with picture to treat completely use ketoconazole shampoo meanwhile. Hii lybrate-user, it will take time for the dandruff to go. Topisal lotion needs to be applied daily at night. Check if it's a lotion or shampoo containing ketoconazole. Many companies market it as lotion. If it's a shampoo, wash your hair alternate day with ketoconazole shampoo. Keep for 3 mins on scalp and then wash. I will advise you against the use of home remedies now that you're using thse medicines. Just be patient and you ll definitely see the results.
