My one month baby has redness and scratches on her anal area. She is passing loose stool which is yellow in color many times a day. Totally on breastfeeding. I'm suggested to give gastica and nutrolin b to her. Is it safe, what can I do otherwise to reduce the redness and to tighten her stool?

It is common for a 1-month-old baby to pass loose stool and have multiple stools daily up to even 6 times, mostly they pass stool while feeding. If it is not having blood and the baby is gaining weight then it should not be a worry. For perianal redness, apply happy nap resh or sebamed rash cream, use cotton nappies instead of diapers. Effective home remedies to treat urticaria include: •a cold compress. A person can apply a cool, damp cloth to the affected area. This can provide relief from itchiness and help reduce inflammation. A cold compress can be used as often as necessary. •bathing in an anti-itch solution. Baking soda baths can soothe skin and reduce irritation. •applying aloe vera. The healing properties of aloe vera may soothe and reduce hives. It is advisable, however, to do a skin test before applying aloe vera to the entire area that is affected. •avoiding irritants. This includes perfumes, fragranced soaps or moisturizers, and staying out of the sun. A person should also stay cool and wear loose, comfortable clothing.
