Am using minoxidil with finasteride 10% as a topical solution for 5 years now can reduce to 5% minoxidil will it have any adverse reaction like increased hair shedding or can I continue with 10%

You need to continue the same dose. Reducing or stopping will reduce or stop the protective action of minoxidil and revert back to the original trend of hair loss
