Hello, Thanks for the query. The reasons for frequent urination can be quite a few. Mainly in aged persons enlarged prostate affects urine flow as it presses on urethra, hence a lot urine volume remains in the bladder and person gets repeated urge. Secondly there may be undetected urinary tract infection, which also leads to increased frequency. Another major cause is undetected diabetes this also causes increased urge. So please check his blood glucose also, if that is high then necessary treatment can help in controlling the frequency. Thanks.
