I am a pcod patient. I didn't get periods since two months. I had a upt negative. Doctor gave me meprate 10 mg. After 15 days again doctor gave me 10 mg twice a day for 5 days as I didn't get period. After 4 days of having meprate I went for ultrasound and found I am pregnant. Will it have effect on my baby?

Meprate is known to cause birth defects in fetus specially in female fetuses. But the risk is not definitely known. If you want to continue the pregnancy, keep getting frequent ultrasounds done to check for anomalies in the baby.
