I am taking lithium medicines for a long period. My egfr is 54. I know becoz of lithium. My creatinine 1.02 and urea is 26 and sodium is 139 and potassium is 3.8. As per doctor advise, lithium should be tapered off. I have done that exercise and I went to mania and then I came to lithium. To keep my egfr stable, can take any supplementary medicine for short term, say 2 months only. Then I will consult my doctor and I have to tapper off for a length period and I have to take other medicine equivalent to. Can you name it to keep my egfr stable suitable medicine.
