Vitamin c helps to preserve the health of mitochondria; hence, a negative effect is created against these chemotherapy drugs' mechanism of actction. Desmoid tumors (aggressive fibromatosis) are not a cancer because they do not spread to other parts of the body. Often they do not grow or cause symptoms, but some desmoids can grow aggressively.
