Help required! patient history: 1st pregnancy: stopped heartbeat at 12th week. Ended with a miscarriage. 2nd pregnancy: ended well with a normal delivery. Now have a (2.5) years old son. 3rd pregnancy: 5 weeks pregnant today. Dr. has suggested loprin one time a day and duphaston 2 times a day which is causing too much dizziness and light headedness. Loprin is required to ensure proper blood supply to developing baby. Duphaston can be substituted with a vaginal progesterone in consultation with your doctor. Personally I have two opinions #1- do not take too many unnecessary medications especially during the first 3 months where baby growth and development is sensitive. #2- do not mixed any two forms of medicine, be it allopathic/ayurveda/ homeopathy. Stick to one which you are confident with.
