Mam I have delivered baby girl via c-section on 17th may. Now we don't want baby for at least 3 years. When will I go for copper t insertion, is it good contraceptive method, or any other method I can use? Please suggest.

1) at the time of delivery if mother is of 35 years (meaning 34 at pregnancy) or more there are higher chances of problem of mongolism to baby so considering that plan gap between two. 2) there are many temporary family planning methods like oral pills, injectable hormones, intrauterine devices, condoms, diaphragms, safe period, coitus interruptus, etc. You must know about the success and failure rates of all as well as the advantages and disadvantages of all to decide which suits you the best. Maybe consult gynecologist as a couple.
