I am a 22 year old female. I have just started taking birth control for the first time it is yasmin birth control pills. As recommended on the leaflet I started taking it on the first sunday after I start my periods which was the 3rd day of my periods. It is a 21 days pill pack. Please let me know if I did the right think taking it while on my periods and what should I do once the packet is over.

Hi, You have started the pack on the correct day. After completing the tablets, you will get the periods within 3-4days. Start the second pack of tablets on the 3rd day of your periods.
