A friend of mine, 50 years old lady, is on trozet 2.5 mg as one of the medications treatment for breast cancer. After 6 months, she noticed enlarged thyroid on right side but her doctor did not suggest any relation between the medications and enlarged thyroid. Fyi, blood test on her hormone are within range. Whats your advise on the situation as explained above. Thanks.

The drug trozet is letrazole, which is used in breast cancer. It has no side effect on thyroid. If thyroid is enlarged, it is different disease. Investigations like TSH, T3, and T4 will guide diagnosis.
