Hi. This query is about my father. He is a parkinson patient for nearly 9 years. He has been on medications since then with syndopa plus, rasalect, pacitane as advised by doctors. Doses adjusted according to severity all these days. Condition worse from single hand shaking to bend posture and difficulty in walking. He gets tired if walks couple of minutes, complains of back pain. From last 1 week, he has lost sleepiness, talking useless and without sense. Along with my dad, we are unable to sleep since he is roaming in the room and injuring himself. Sleep pill didn't work. This has happened twice.

Your dad is showing signs of sundowning syndrome. Which is also seen in dementia patients. Try melatonin before sleep time and consult a psychiatrist for possible treatment with antipsycotic meds.
