I am 30 married having pcod. I am having meprate twice a day from 1st to 7th day of each month for my irregular period and get my period within 15th to 17th in each month. Last month I had unprotected sex and this month I took meprate from 2nd to 8th twice a day but I didn't get my period. What can be the cause of my late period.

Wait for one more week for your periods. If they still don't come, get an ultrasound scan done.

1. Your pcos treatment is not proper. 2. Wait for at least 15 days after stoppage of meprate. 3.if no bleeding, do urinary pregnancy test.

Do a urine pregnancy test. If it is negative, you will have to take meprate 5 mg thrice daily for 5 days and stop. You will have periods within 7-10 days on stopping medication.
