Hi my mother have lrti, there is severe cough and congestion in chest from 1 year (after she had covid). When doctors diagnosed it with all the tests and xray they said it is just normal allergy and gave antibiotics, antihistamines and mucous thinner for 5 days. She took it and felt slightly better then doctors advised same for 5 more days and by the end of 10 days course she was much better (symptoms of cough and congestion). After 1-2 days of leaving meds the symptoms reappeared and continued for another 1 week and one day she woke up with no symptoms but whenever she eat certain foods (like oily sweets, anything that contain cream, and citrus fruits) the symptoms reappear. What should be done?
