The virus is transmitted through contact with infected blood/blood product, transfusion of infected blood, dialysis, contaminated syringe/needle/skin pricks/tatooing, sexual contact with infected person, homosexuality and from infected mother to un born child, 3. Symptoms-. The person is mostly asymptomatic and is detected to have infection during screening test prior to blood transfusion. In some patients the symptoms are like hepatitis a jaundice, malaise, fatigue, anorexia, nausea, vomiting, pain abdomen 4.
