I had a section in 24 days back. I had piles problem previously. But after delivery it started again with bleeding. Then it stopped. But now again from previous 10 days I am having bleeding while defecating. But very less pain. Only bleeding is my concern. Pain is negligible. I am not sure if it piles or fissure in ano. My gums gave me clostop for bleeding. No cure. Plus I am taking naturolax powder for soft stools. N sits bath. Will bleeding go on it own? If it will go on its own I do not want medicine? Any drop by drop bleeding will cause any serious problem. Is it an emergency? Please answer.

Couldn't be fissure as fissure is mostly painful. It can be internal hemorrhoids (piles) in early stages. Please consult a surgeon to get proctoscopy done. Â

Piles or hemorrhoids are enlarged veins. Pregnancy can cause as well as worsen piles because as your uterus enlarges it puts pressure on the veins. Constipation is also common in pregnancy, leading to straining while defecating/passing stools. This can cause your piles to worsen. However, these go away once delivery/c-section is done and baby is out. * don't take clostop for more than 4 to 5 days. * sitz bath and stool softeners should be continued * do not strain on stools in my opinion, since your bleeding is persistent, it would be a good idea to see a doctor. These days there are several options for piles treatment including laser where there is no pain, the procedure takes about 30-40 mins and you can get discharged in a few hours or a day at the most. Â
