Hello you are on the right medication if you have a diagnosed anal fissure. The idea in anal fissure is if it dsnt heal by one month or recurs again and again, then it becomes chronic, and a chronic fissure may not respond very well to conservative management and may need a small surgical procedure. However if you are feeling better, continue with the treatment. I feel lactifibre will be enough for you and you can do away with lactihep. Take lots of fluids as well and add sits baths thrice a daybto your regimen. Avoid spicy food and non veg. Regarding your question about the swelling, it's most probably a hypertrophic anal papila or a sentinel pile, which is a sequele of a chronic anal fissure. You should not worry about it if it's not causing much issue. I would suggest you to follow your treatment for 3 more weeks. If you still feel discomfort after that, visit a good proctologist or a proctosurgeon in your area. Regards.
