I live with my partner in canada, recently he developed rectal abscess and now it became a fistula. Its been 2 week that he is having this issue. While I also recently feel a little soft lump near anus which is slightly painful but not so much. I don't have any issue while having stool, walking or sitting. Also my outer anus area is feeling little tight since a week. I am not sure what this is. But if this is an abscess so is there any way to stop the growth at this initial stage? Also, what could be the causes of such abscess. Can using a common/ dirty washroom be a reason for this? The washroom is shared between four people. Please guide me and suggest what medications should I take or any home remedies that can help to stop the growth.
