Suffering from pcos since 2013. I'm 25 years old. 3 years of marriage life no children. I was prescribed to take clofert 50 mg 2doses/day for about 5 days from my 2nd day of period. I got period on 19 september. I started using clofert from 20th september. Now I didn't get my period yet. Symptoms are similar to pms. In every cycle before a week of menstruation pms symptoms starts. This time also same. But still i'm having same symptoms. No period yet. Could you please suggest me what to do now. How many days should I wait for my period. Normally when period can be expected if clofert fails.

Since you have taken clofert, you need to wait for two weeks from your due date. If you still don't get your periods, do a urine pregnancy test. If periods come by then, restart the clofert and visit your special for folliculometry.

get your UPT done, if negative then you can continue with clofert. clofert doesn't delay your period much delay may be due to pregnancy or pcos...wait for 2 week to get your UPT done

The pms symptoms also looks like pregnancy so if you have skipped the cycle do a urine pregnancy test if it is negative then you can wait for at least 10 days from the expected date of period moreover from next month onwards tried to take clomiphene citrate tablet only if you are willing to do follicle study which is a better option otherwise there can be chance of irregular ovarian cyst forming without our knowledge.
