I had tingling and muscle tremors since 4th day of covishield vaccination in my body (9th oct I took the dose). I never had this issue before the vax. I also felt my right hand become weak and fingers somewhat shaky. My medical history: have upper-back pain from past 3 years now. It is only painful when I sit with an incorrect posture. However, had shooting pain at the exact area after the vaccination which was on and off for 1st few days. Had kidney stones last year, have no issues about it at present. I was advised to take 2b12 for a month by a doctor after vaccination side effects started. I have been taking this for 9 days now. The muscle tremors and tingling has reduced a lot, though not completely gone, I feel a bit better now. I don't feel much issues in the day since a few days now. The side effects mostly happen at night. This is also making me anxious and I get scared to sleep at night. I endup being awake and then sleep in the morning. I am taking a lot of fluids - juices and tender coconut. I am assuming the intake of fluids and 2b12 helped in reducing the side effects. Maybe I really am deficient on b12. However, I from past 3 days feel slight nerve pain at random places in the body for few seconds - my index finger (right hand), left arm, my upper back (left side), neck bone area. These 4 incidents happened at 4 different days and lasted only for few seconds. I was advised to take gabapin m 100 if after 10 days of taking b12 I don't see any improvement by a doctor. (this was advised a few days ago). I haven't started taking gabapin yet. Is it advisable to start this tablet? Do I also continue 2b12 with it? Out of the 4 instances mentioned above, 3 happened during night. Only the pain near the neck bone happened in the day. The weakness in my hands and legs is still there but not regular. I only feel weak at times. Will this also go off like my previous symptoms? Or is it something to worry about? Do I need to see a specialist - a neurologist or cardiologist? (are my symptoms anything to do with autoimmune disease or anything serious? - please help me in knowing this.) my previous symptoms reduced after I started taking b12 tablets so do I assume, it is it only a vitamin deficiency? Please help! tell me things as is, please give proper guidance as I want to get rid of these issues as soon as it can. These side effects are really worrying me as I never ever had any issues of these sort before taking the jab.
