There is redness and itching around anus area from 2-3 months. I took 2 albendazole tab with a gap of 14 days but the situation did not improve. Please help to get rid of the itching. Should I take albendazole again or any other medicine. Also, what can I apply on the itching area because it is really uncomfortable.

I am sorry to hear about your concern but will be happy to assist you. Irritation of the rectum from diarrhea or constipation, a small hemorrhoid, or an anal fissure can cause a small amount of bright red blood on the surface of the stool or on the toilet paper. Hemorrhoids and anal fissures usually occur after straining during a bowel movement because of constipation. You should not use anything without doctor's advice as it may be harmful. Let's connect over a call so that we can discuss your concern in details and make a suitable treatment plan for you.
