My mother is an paralyzed patient, she suffered a brain stroke in october 2015 and survived after treatment but her left side body is paralyzed. From then she is taking two medicines regularly as per doctor's instructions, (1) telmikind am 40 mg. (2) epsolin 100 mg. It's now more than 6 years since she is taking these medicines, I just want to know as an "alternative advise" that can we stop the 2nd medicine "epsolin 100 mg" gradually. Actually, we have noticed a couple of times that she responds more promptly whenever she missed to take "epsolin 100 mg" due to any reason, but alternatively she behaves as more sleepy while she takes it regularly. Note :- she takes both the above mentioned medicines "twice daily" I just want a second in depth advice about "epsolin 100 mg" that can it be stopped gradually. The last time I consulted the doctor was about three years ago before covid19 case. Kindly give advice in detail. Thanks.
