I am very disappointed in gynaecologist here in anantnag. It has been a month I have been married and I am needed iud to avoid pregnancy for at least 2-3 years. I need non hormonal methods to avoid pregnancy since I have a pre-existing mental health condition and the medications have altered my hormones a great deal such as my weight, pms (now it is pmdd), duration of cycle. The gym (s) here refuse to help me with iud because they sit on a moral pedestal too high. Can someone suggest me a gynaecologist here in anantnag who is not a preacher of moral high grounds. Also, I am a forester and for 2-3 years I cannot afford to take care of a child. Also, when I am away from husband it doesn't make sense to keep popping pills needlessly. I have put enormous amount of time to see the pros and cons of every method and also have asked friends who use iuds. A note to doctors: get professional! especially gynaecologists. You are service providers and we come to you to seek your help and best advice and not to be judged for how we live or plan our lives.
