Hello I am a 13 year old boy. I was bitten by a cat just 3 days ago. I have consulted a doctor he has told me to take only rabies vaccine. When I checked google it showed that we have to take immunoglobulin vaccine. Is it compulsory to take immunoglobulin vaccine? Please tell.

If there was bleeding (even a drop) at the site of wound/bite, you should take ars (immunoglobulin)-in the wound. But if there was no bleeding, only ars on days 0,3,7,28 is enough. Also tt if not taken in 3 months.
