I have pcod but I really didn't had any problem with my periods. My periods started and ended normally. I was taking aldactone 50 and metformin 500. But since few months I am getting abnormal periods like I am getting my periods after 10 or 15 days my last period ends. I went to my doctor and he changed my meds. Now I am taking krimson 35 and metadose 850. After taking krimson 35, my periods started at the right time when it had to. My last period started on nov 24 and stayed for 7 days which is my normal cycle. But I am noticing spotting every day when I go to washroom. Almost negligible but it is there. I am worried about it now. P.s. I am working in night shift (9 pm - 6 am) since aug 2. If night shifts are the reason, please let me know.

Your spotting should settle in a couple of days. Also get your thyroid and prolactin levels checked.

Night shifts are definitely not the reason for spotting. It 8s a hormonal issue. It means progesterone deficiency but its desirable to get a few blood tests done. You can contact me online for detailed discussion and advice.
