Its hiv-1 rna pcr qualitative test, can this still be conclusive? Test after 17th day, it was mentioned only hiv-1 rna but didn?t mention anything about hiv-2, please help.

There are some theories that say this test becomes less accurate from about 3 months post exposure. This is because at 3 months post exposure, the body would have made antibodies to fight the hiv virus.
