My covid report came positive on 11th january 2022. I have taken 1 tablet of azithromycin of 500 mg and 1 tablet of lcz for 5 days. And I am still taking cough syrup named as ambrolite. I am not taking any tablets now but still taking cough syrup because I am still suffering from sore throat and coughing. When can I go out to get a repeat rt-pcr test? For how many days I need to quarantine myself? How will know that it is omicron or delta variant that I have catched? Can somebody refer me some good medicine for my sore throat and coughing. And this is the second time I got tested positive for covid. 1st time I got positive report on 28th april 2021.

This time you might have got omicron. It is mild infection. Self limiting. Check spo2 test 7 days quarantine is sufficient. No need to repeat rt pcr test.
