As per ct scan (brain) report. Cerebral hemispheres are normal in attenuation. Ventricles, cortical sulci and cisterns are normal mucous retention cyst in bilateral maxillary sinuses what does it mean. Please tell me sir.

Dear lybrate-user ji greetings! your ct brain shows that as far as your brain and other central nervous system is concerned it is perfectly normal. The only thing of concern are the maxillary sinuses (cheek bone sinuses) that have swelled up due to some infection so it is holding back the mucous secretion. Actually it has to be drained properly in the nose. So, first things first: 1. You are fine except some sinusitis of cheek side. 2. Take steam inhalation 3. If there is any pain, take a pain killer or coupled with fever then you might need an antibiotic cover. 4. Take plenty of warm water. 5. Avoid eating cold sour items.
