My sister 35 years old has high serum urea and high bun levels. Creatine is 0.9. Our doctor prescribed febustat 40. It is given for uric acid will it also control high urea and bun levels?

Hello, Thanks for the query. I have seen the details mentioned. However, only creatinine level is mentioned. There is no mention of either urea or uric acid level. By simply saying high, I do not get any idea at all. The drug mentioned is used to reduce urea levels so that there is urea related issue like gout. If you have any other doubts please do come back. The person needs to avoid foods containing high purines like sea foods, organ meat plus avoid colas, packaged juices. Thanks.
