Hello sir meri mommy ne kidney function test karwaya jisme unka sbkuch normal hai. Creatinine level 1.01 hai. Or alkaline phosphate hai jo 130 hai. Or sb normal hai. Lakin ultrasound me unki right kidney 8.9 cm or left kidney 8.5 cm nikli hai. Kya ye dangerous hai. Iski normal kitni range hota h.age-55 weight -64, hight-5 foot3 inch. Please reply.

Good morning the kidney size of a patient depends on his/her body size. The kidney size of your patient appears borderline normal. Normal size is approx 9 - 10 cm. Serum creatinine is also normal. It is not dangerous but urine examination and annual follow-up is recommended. And most important, avoid pain killers/nsaids.

Normal kidney size is 9-11 cms. But for people who have a shorter stature, even lesser size may be considered normal. Serum creatinine is normal. If there is no protein in urine, there is nothing to worry.

Hi lybrate-user, please do serum creatinine every six monthly once, get 24 hrs urine analysis .look for any protein loss in urine .and also urine protein creatinine ratio then we can decide.
