I have been on propranolol 10 mg for 4 months. On and off, I have sinus tachycardia. I had done echo, ecg, tmt and they were fine. I have anxiety issues as well as increased heart rate especially on standing up. I had been taking neurobion forte for b12 being on the lower end, took tayo vit d 60k for last 8 weeks. I had covid 4 weeks ago. And was on montek lc for 4 weeks. I have severe gi issues with esophagitis, lax les, chronic inactive gastritis and ibs. For reasons unknown, last week my hr isn't very high. So, I stopped taking propranolol for 2 days. Though hr continues to be just about ok, sometimes it is consistently higher than 100, most of the time at least when sitting down it is below 90. My question are, a) how to safely come of propranolol? And b) is there any view on possible link between gerd and beta blockers? These queries are just for information.

Plz get thyroid functions done. And do not self medicate see a good senior physician who will guide. Try to avoid anxiety. Beta blockers (metoprolol, propranolol) increase the esophageal sphincter tone so reduce acid reflux .in case you want further clearance please get in touch vit audio consultation.
