If a person has stage 3 male pattern baldness with diffuse hair loss can he stick with oral finasteride 1 mg daily without using minoxidil due to seborrheic dermatitis? Using ketoconazole shampoo. Will standalone treatment of oral finasteride will work if the patient does not want to use minoxidil.

Yes it might work only to a small extent. However adding minoxidil will not resolve the issue.
