I am experiencing some buzzing and (or) ringing sound in my ear. Earlier I was diagnosed with serious otitis media and now this situation persists. Am I suffering from tinnitus or it will fade with time?

Hello, now you r in chronic serous otitis media means fluid in the middle ear with tinnitus. Remember tinnitus or ringing sound may happens due to impacted wax against eardrum, inner ear disorder, otosclerosis, chronic noise exposure etc. Sometimes tinnitus fades away or sometimes lasts long, so get an ent consultation for otitis media and for tinnitus it is better for you to avoid noisy places, use slow music against ringing sound, feel relax all the time by avoiding such sounds, avoid caffeinated products like chocolate, cola, tea, alcohol.
