Hello, I have recently observed that my ear wax is more and kind of falling off the ear. Any reason why it grew suddenly as this has never happened? Also, I have used dwax drops today and planing to continue it for the next two days. Is that safe without a doctor?s advice? Txs.

I am sorry to hear about your concern but will be happy to assist you. Conditions such as stenosis (narrowing of the ear canal), overgrowth of hair in the canal, and hypothyroidism can cause wax buildup. Using cotton swabs/q-tips, wearing hearing aids, and the aging of the skin and loss of elasticity can also lead to excessive cerumen! let's connect over a call so that we can discuss your concern in details and make a suitable treatment plan for you.
