I had protected sex on 7th day of my cycle (8th march 2022) .as a precaution I took one ovral l tablet as I could get only that within 1 hour. Is that enough or should I take one more? When will I get my periods? I have a regular cycle of 28 days (average). What is withdrawal bleeding? Can you please explain as it is the first time i'm taking ovral l. This is making me more stressed.

If you had used protection there was no need to take Ovral L. And if you did as an emergency contraceptive, then two should have been taken followed by two after 12 hours. It would be preferable if you continued the strip now one per day to get a proper period. Usually one tablet doesn't affect the cycle but can in some people.

If the sex was protected then you do not need to take any hormonal pill. It will unnecessarily delay your cycle causing undue anxiety
