My father suffered from severe covid last year from then till now, he is facing an extreme level of tiredness, he is not able to stand properly if he stands he falls to behind. He has no sugar no bp. He can't speak out words. He also faces dizziness and faintness most of the time. We are not able to find out what is troubling him. Please help us.

Dear Mr. lybrate-user, the problems of your father are frequently seen in post covid patients --in differnet intensities --the common reasons being the damage to his immunity and tissues by the covid disease process-- it also is part of post covid syndrome. So you are adviced to take him to a good consultant physician and do investigations as prescribed ---usually he will advice tests for inflamatory process in the body--if the results are positive or high--- he may refer your father for cardiology / pulmonology / neurologist / nephrologist check-up--- as per the clinical data -- do that also -- if all are normal -- then he may advice your father to take rest ; avoid outtings and mixing with people -and maintain covid etiquette to safeguard himself from repeated covid infection. Also you have to give him nutritious food ; plenty of water to drink ; allow him to do only mild wexercise like slow walking ; do supportive and symptomatic treatment for any common problems; give maximum support to maintain his positive mental health and wait for few weeks /months for his regain of normal health.---also --have check-up at hospital --if his symptoms aggravate at any period of time.
