I am a 20 year old female who has been on the pill called desogestrel for 1 week now and I have just started bleeding all of a sudden and getting clots. I was just wondering if this is normal or not?

Desogestrel is a progesterone and breakthrough bleeding has been known to occur with its use. It is more problematic in the initial months of use. If it subsides within a few days then do not worry. If it is very heavynor persists then you need to take medicines to arrest the bleeding.
