I have a pain in my feet, crafs. I am not able to stand for longer period sometimes. But my job is to stand as I am a teacher, I have to stand and teach. Please help me to cure this.

Regards Lybrate user. Pain in feet and calf may occur due to multiple reasons. Given your profession demanding standing for longer duration, there could be issues concerning muscle fatigue of deep muscles of the leg muscles that could compensate by using superficial (outer) muscles. The imbalance is mostly correctable. Other reasons that may be attributed to the pain could be circulatory disturbances (of blood in vessels) or nerves of the feet getting irritated. It is recommended to consult an orthopaedician or orthopaedic physiotherapist for a detailed evaluation to ascertain the cause, and manage accordingly.
